Nic Laidlaw

Nic Laidlaw

Nic is the founder of Balanced Studio and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the business. Born and raised on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Nic has long held a passion for the beautiful surrounds of Sydney and their beaches. With a history in professional junior surfing and early exposure to Eastern medicine, yoga and meditation, Nics place as a holistic health practitioner is truly enforced through experience in living what he preaches.

Nic has been in the health industry since 2007 as a personal trainer and is a C.H.E.K. (Corrective Holistic Exercise Kinesiology) Exercise Coach and Holistic Lifestyle Coach (Level 2). He specialises in corrective exercise, overall wellness programs, pre and post natal training and strength for sport specific conditioning. Nic is also a published writer on the foundation principles of holistic health as well as a student and learning advocate, a meditator and a keen supporter of initiatives to keep our beaches, oceans and environment in good shape.

Nick has extensively travelled and studied over the past years gathering a unique perspective on life, vitality and priorities along the way. Nick is an awesome addition to the Balanced Studio team and brings a huge amount of expertise and knowledge with him. As a qualified C.H.E.K. (Corrective Holistic Exercise Kinesiology) Exercise Coach and Holistic Lifestyle Coach, Nick’s goal is to develop his clients’ physical health and wellbeing through nutrition, movement and connection to their own spirituality and life force. Nick offers individual programs designed to improve pre and post natal conditioning, postural alignment, weight loss, sport specific strength conditioning, back pain, nutrition and lifestyle.

A keen surfer, meditator and gymnast, Nick has a great sense of fun, an open and nurturing spirit and a real lust for life. He loves to be involved with community-orientated projects and enjoys working with the beautiful clients that come through the doors for individual and group training sessions.

Laura Gonzalez

Laura Gonzales

Born and raised in Hawaii until moving to Sydney in 2009. Certified yoga instructor, personal trainer with special interest in corrective exercise and functional movement. Laura has a deep passion for movement, all things active, and healthy living. Laura’s main goal as a health Coach is to bring awareness to body, breath and lifestyle.

Richard Paton

Richard Paton

Richard is a a Senior Shiatsu practitioner, Acu Energetics healer, yoga instructor and level 3 Reiki healer. Richard combines his practice of eastern medicine to offer a rare wealth of knowledge to our clients.

Richard teaches at Balanced Studio Movment Weeks as well as Yoga intensives, he is also available for Shiatsu Treatments.
